The 23rd annual Adelaide Critics Circle awards were presented at a ceremony at Holden Street Theatres on Thursday 12 December at 6 pm. The Guest Speaker at the Awards was Mitchell Butel, Artistic Director, State Theatre South Australia. Winners received a framed certificate of achievement. The Awards were made possible by the support of the Independent Arts Foundation and the members of the Adelaide Critics Circle.

 

Individual Award – Professional Theatre

Mark Saturno, actor – A View From The Bridge (State Theatre Company of South Australia)

 

Group Award – Professional Theatre, shared between three nominees:

Adelaide Baroque – body of work, Bakehouse Theatre – body of work and advocacy of new work, and Joh Hartog Productions – Brilliant Traces
